Took a bit of a Motorcycle Putt this December. Went to Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada for a few days. Took the GL1800 Goldwing and solo’d for a week. Visited Tucson, Tombstone, Bisbee, and Douglas Arizona. Douglas is a border town right next to Mexico. Traveled over to New Mexico and then it got cold…. damn cold. So I turned around and headed back to Cali. On my way home I stopped in at Laughlin, Nevada and stayed in the Colorado Belle Casino-Hotel….for $20 per nite…. wow. Weather ranged from the lo 30’s at nite to a high of mid 60’s… Rode about 2000 miles over 8 days…. had a good time…but think I’ll wait for a bit of warm weather the take another ride.
