Quartzsite is a "woodstock" happening.... over the winter months hundreds of thousands of sno birders congregate in the California-Arizona desert and "squat" on the public land for the winter. Some stay for months, some stay for a week, others stay for a while.... we visited the SWBB.... SouthWest Blue Bird rally in Jan 2009. These are some of the photos of the event.
